Lit up my Goodreads notifications, this one didâbecause when I open Armentroutâs pages I expect fireworks, gasp-worthy moments, and characters I ache for. A Light in the Flame gives you all that, mostly. It’s gorgeous at times, compelling, even haunting. But: I never quite surrendered to it fully. What grabbed me: Sera and Nyktos are
